With our know-how in the field of thermal management, our climate control systems extend to more than just the vehicle cabin in hybrid and electric vehicles. Energy storage and power electronics are also integrated in thermal management to ensure their safety, but also to take possible waste heat into account holistically and efficiently.
Energy efficient BHTC algorithms such as fresh air control, air mass flow control or humidity management reduce the CO2 emissions of conventional vehicles and increase the range of vehicles with alternative propulsion such as electric and hybrid vehicles while the climate comfort remains unchanged.
The range of battery-powered powertrains is significantly increased by reducing the hitherto often neglected energy consumption of climate control particularly in winter. Fuel-efficient products, including e.g. highly efficient blower controllers or high-voltage components such as the world's first electric heaters in volume production expand our product portfolio for electric mobility.
