Official opening of new BHTC plant in Mexico
A decisive milestone to ensure the company’s strategic growth.
The automotive supplier BHTC is further extending its global footprint: On 11th May, 2016 the new Building in the Mexican state Guanajuato was officially opened by Dr. Andreas Teuner, Managing Director of BHTC Group. The ceremony was attended by members of the BHTC Management Team from Germany and abroad, representatives of the local authorities as well as invited customers.
At the site of San Miguel de Allende, BHTC will produce climate control units and HMI panels for Audi, Volkswagen, General Motors, BMW and Daimler. Two further German Automotive suppliers will perfectly complement this new site. RAFI Syscom, who develop and produce high-end decorative assemblies for the automotive industry, as well as Langer Group who have many years of experience in tooling and the construction of prototypes and test equipment. A constellation which offers BHTC an excellent competitor advantage in the NAFTA region.
All three companies will invest around 85 million USD within the next 5 years with the aim of creating more than 1,000 new jobs.
