BHTC GmbH announces a leadership transition as part of its ongoing integration into AUO Group.

Effective July 1, 2025, Michael Jaeger stepped down as CEO, with Dr. Simon Hsu assuming the role. Mr. Jaeger continues to support AUO Group, including BHTC, as Strategy & Integration Advisor—a move aligned with the company’s long-term vision.

Dr. Simon Hsu brings nearly two decades of experience in the display and smart mobility industries. Prior to this appointment, Simon played a key leadership role within AUO’s Smart Mobility Business Group, where he was instrumental in technology development, product strategy, and global business expansion. With deep expertise in automotive applications and a proven track record of fostering growth, Simon has worked closely with the BHTC team throughout the AUO-BHTC integration process. His strong technical background, market insight, and ability to align cross-functional global teams position him well to lead BHTC forward.

Michael Jaeger commented, “After a meaningful journey with BHTC, I have decided to step down for personal reasons. I am proud of what we have achieved together.
