Standardization means progress.
A high degree of re-use can be achieved with software standardization. In software development, BHTC places great emphasis on the flexible configurability of software modules, which allows them to be incorporated in an extremely wide variety of control modules.
Special emphasis is given to the use of standard interfaces and a modular design (drivers, handlers, managers) of the software module. This means that the functionality of the software is to a great extent independent of the hardware. If the microcontroller should change in a specific project, only the driver layer is replaced or modified, while the underlying software remains the same. The integration of customer-specific software can also be completed quickly and simply.
The standardization of software results in significantly reduced costs and effort during the testing phase, which in turn shortens the development times and improves the quality of the software.
BHTC software is developed on the basis of the V lifecycle model. To maintain/improve this quality standard, BHTC employs a closed tool chain, which ensures that all customer specifications have been implemented and tested. The assessment of the software quality is carried out on the basis of the SPICE maturity level model.
