Simulation makes development reliable.
With our innovative simulation technology, we are able to simulate the interplay of hardware and software at an early stage of development. This allows us to identify the behavior of a variety of factors that affect the climate and control their development and design with greater reliability. Thus, the fine tuning of the system actually begins before a new vehicle exists as a prototype.
For all climate-related vehicle components, there are simulation models that mathematically describe the physical properties of the relevant factors. All the inputs and outputs of the climate control panels are operated via a simulator under realistic conditions, the effects are examined. By including reproducible details of the environmental conditions, virtual road tests can be generated that verify the compatibility of the air conditioning components and display the performance of the entire system as it will later look in the actual vehicle.
To test the final product, these models are simulated on so-called real-time computers, which permit the control unit hardware to be tested together with the integrated software. This test strategy is implemented by BHTC throughout the entire development process, from development to test bench.
