Technical Account Manager (m/f)

Duties:

Responsible for new acquisitions of BHTC innovations and traditional climate control products to OEM customer.

Promote relationship improvements between BHTC assigned accounts for Purchasing, Engineering, Quality and Manufacturing and corresponding BHTC functional departments. Create and establish relationships and network with pre-development departments
Organize Tech Days and introductions of new technologies and innovations. Operate within BHTC policies and procedures for handling commercial responsibilities. Lead and support BHTC strategic planning process and implementation (Develop assigned account strategic plan/ Lead of business plan preparation for new acquisition targets/ Lead sales planning process focusing on key customer drivers.) 

Location: Farmington Hills, Michigan 48331

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: B.S degree in Electrical Engineering preferred; B.A. degree in Business accepted.

Experience: Minimum five (5) years’ experience in automotive industry with strong performing tier one or tier two automotive supplier of electronic related components / sub-assemblies to domestic OEM’s.

Other Requirements:

Technical competence in automotive electronics, especially display and surface technologies. Proven track record of developing sales strategies, creating / implementation of action plans and monitoring same. Demonstrated experience in developing and managing a major automotive customer relationship. Outstanding commercial aptitude with obvious business acumen.
Project management experience preferred. Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks. Solid PC skills including Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, and Excel, and SAP database. Ability to work effectively with various technical levels of individuals and with minimal supervision. Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Systems requirements. Availability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
